Location Narrative ? Stand is a long narrow strip that follows along the top of the cliff edge where substrate is primarily exposed bedrock with some patches of soil. Stand located toward tip of China Gulch Point (S side of pt), N of Camanche Reservoir. On EBMUD property. Stand is a very diffuse overstory of Quercus wislizenii with a high number of snags or dying trees. Understory a distinct thick layer of Mimulus aurantiacus with the occasional Eriodictyon californicum. Mimulus layer is disrupted by open patches of annual grass. GPS point was taken toward W edge of stand, stand extends E quite a way. Stand represented in small rocky patches away from edge of cliff.
