Road not included for estimating bare fines and weeds in stand. Black willow stand located SE and E of Stanislaus River (on S side bordering it), located in San Joaquin National Wildlife Refuge, N of end of Beckwith Road and N of cultivated fields. Stand continues on both sides of dirt road. Litter, bare fines, and bioturbation are hard to estimate due to thick layer of cottony willow seeds. Mugwort and milkthistle grow dense in clearihngs and next to road.
