Location Narrative ? Although the adjacent northwest-facing slope of the drainage had similar species, the percentage of these species were different enough along with the steep angle of the slope that I decided not to include it in the stand. Quercus wislizeni stand on wide gradual slope on north side of small drainage. Two smaller drainages in the stand flowing from the north feed into the main drainage. There is a consistent grass layer on the upper western portion of the slope while Juncus and Cyperus occur closer to the stream bank.
