Location Narrative ? In San Joaquin River NWR. S of end of Beckwith Rd. S of Stanislaus River, N/NW of grazed property boundary. An L-shaped stand characteristically by Quercus lobata overstory and dense Rubus understory. The long side of the 'L' is on the E side of the road, running NE-SW (from NE intersection with short side), and is quite long. The short side of the 'L' runs roughly NW-SE and is crossing the road. Carex, Rosa, and Sambucus only found on E side of road, sporadically.
