Semitropic Ridge, off dirt access road. Stand is a low, flat area where water pools seasonally. Open patches of annual vegetation create a mosaic with bare, cracked ground. Sparse annual herbs (mainly Lepidium) occur across the bare ground. The dense herbaceous patches occur on small, low mounds.
