Location Narrative ? East of highway 165. Salix stand along riverside. Strip is narrow and remains fully on land. The ground is covered many times over in a dense Cynodon grass and few other species are able to compete. Branches of Salix extend into patches of Scirpus. San Luis National Wildlife Refuge, south of San Joaquin River in West Bear Creek unit.
