Hard to distinguish from adjacent stands. Salt grass with Juncus in a wide swale between Sporobolus stands. Juncus density varies. Stand in west Bear Creek unit of San Luis NWR, SW of San Joaquin River and dirt road. Area was grazed this year but cattle were recently removed. Many cow patties and some nibbled Juncus present.
