N end of Arena Plains unit of Merced NWR. Stand about 200 m S of northmost fence/reserve boundary. Stand comprised of repeating connected patches within an ephemeral pond/slough. Patches of Juncus sp. stands and areas with lower vegetation density all intermixed within this lower lying, wetter area.
