Location Narrative	Juncus patches are darker green amongst grasslands. Stand parallels dirt road to west. Road is to the NE of stand. Stand in main unit of the Merced NWR, S of Sandy Mush Rd. in S portion of unit. Currently grazed by cattle. Some of Juncus tops nibbled off. Much cow hoof punch. Juncus stand with Juncus in patches amidst grasslands. Many weedy species are present in stand. Probably too early for an accurate assessment.
