Community Type: tidal freshwater marsh
Community Description: Fresh water tidal marsh along Big Timber Creek (boundary between Camden and Gloucester Counties). Dominated strongly by Zizania aquatica with Nuphar advena in more wet areas along stream channels. Bidens laevis and Bidens cernua are abundant, and there is some Typha spp. and P. australis along the edge. Surrounding area is heavily built up with both residential and commercial development. Marsh is moderately impacted by water-borne litter, old tires, wood, etc. There is a small township park on the west side of marsh at this point.
