Community Type: tidal brackish marsh
Community Description: Brackish marsh between woods along Mosquito Landing Road and the S bank of the Tuckahow River. Marsh is dominated by Phragmites, with patches of Scirpus americanus, and a narrow zone of Spartina cynosuroides and Spartina alterniflora along the river. Topography is hummocky and laced with muskrat trails. There is no obvious human disturbance, site is obviously tidal. Slope is negligible between wood edge and stream.
