Community Type: interdunal swale
Community Description: Depression located between dunes about 300' in diameter. Saturated, hummocky and Sphagnous. Graminoid-dominated. NW corner is a little wetter - location of this plot. Large patches of Vaccinium macrocarpon are scattered, mostly at the S end. Maritime forest and shrub thicket surround this depression.
