Community Type: interdunal swale
Community Description: Central and lowest section of shallow linear depression lying adjacent to and parallel to road. Dunes lie along the eastern edge. Site is dominated by Thelypteris palustris, which are rather small for this time of year. Toxicodendron radicans clumps are scattered throughout, sometimes on low hummocks. Phragmites invading. No recent disturbance. Site is saturated but there is no standing water.
