Location Narrative ? Site is about 2.7 miles NNW of Penn Place. From the intersection of Chatsworth and Crawley (aka, Sooey) Rds. In Penn State Forest, travel N on Crawley Rd. 2 miles. Turn left and follow road 0.5 miles and turn left again. The road follows the N edge of the creek. After 0.7 miles turn N, then W. Site is on the right.

Observation Narrative ? Community Type: coastal plain pond Community Description: Herbaceous zone with heterogeneous mix of species. No clear zonation within this zone, though patches of Cladium and Eriocaulon are apparent (Cladium in central area and Eriocaulon along the N side). Xyris is present but brown and dead at the time. Pronounced depressions in some areas, often with Xyris (small) filling it.
