The site is ~1.4 miles W of Woodmere. From Woodmere, head west on Harmersville Pecks Corner Road about 1 mile to Perry Road. Turn right (north) on Perry. Continue 0.7 miles to the first left and turn. Continue 0.5 miles. Pond is south of the road in a forested patch ~800' within the forest.

General Landscape Description: Oak-hickory-sweetgum forest extends west of the site for less than 1000', with agricultural land surrounding this small patch of forested wetlands. Lower Alloways Creek runs east to west ~2000' north of the site. Patches of forest grow between agricultural lands and along Lower Alloways Creek.

Community Type: coastal plain pond
Community Description: Herbaceous zone dominated by Cyperus and Echinocloa, currently inundated with ~8" of water. Other species are scattered throughout and in channels through the Cephalanthus, which links the open areas.
Other species present but not in plot: cool season grasses around the edges
