Observation Narrative ? Community Type: coastal plain pond Community Description: Forested upper shore of coastal plain pond. There is very little perceptible slope, ~1-2 degrees from the Phragmites area to a barely discernible rim with trees and hummocks. Because of these hummocks, there is an appearance of slope going down about 20-25 m outside the Phragmites. Moss grows 1-2' on the hummocks.
