Observation Narrative	The plot is representative of Typha angustifolia communities which occur locally in oligohaline to brackish marshes of Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge. The habitat is located near the upland edge of an extensive salt marsh complex. This community type usually occupies discrete zones within the marshes and grades abruptly into adjacent vegetation. Southeastern edge of marsh ca. 0.5 mi SE of the mouth of Janeys Creek.
