Observation Narrative	A non-estuarine wetland occupying a broad, shallow interdune basin situated behind a narrow belt of oceanfront dunes. The basin supports a mosaic of community types. Vegetation in this plot occupies an oligohaline, seasonally flooded pond in the center of the basin and is dominated by a several-acre mat of Bacopa monnieri. Plot located ca. 0.1 mi west of bike trail at a point 0.8 mi north of beach parking area, in pond at head of a low basin.
