Observation Narrative ? Plot location: Basin depression south of Poe Road in Training Area T-9. See plot form for sketch of plot location. This seasonally flooded depression wetland is clearly visible from Poe Rd. and is distinctive in the summer with its very sparse herb layer, blackened leaf litter and buttressed trees. The impact of adjacent ditching and the roadbed on its natural hydrology is questionable.
