Observation Narrative ? A partly inundated zone of a sinkhole peatland herbaceous community. About 20% of the plot area is inundated about 4 cm deep. The difference in microelevation within the plot is about 25 cm between hollows and top of hummocks. Plot center is 15 m S72W from multi-trunk Acer rubrum with largest trunk ca. 3 cm dbh. Soil pit intermediate between hummock and hollow.
