Observation Narrative ? Plot location: ca. 0.15 miles WNW of confluence of North Landing and Pocaty Rivers. Plot center marked by a 1" white PVC pipe. Tall (2.5 meters), Phragmites australis- dominated marsh vegetation. Although a number of other species occur in the plot, their individual and aggregate cover is extremely low due to dense shading and root competition induced by the aggressive and clonal Phragmites.
