Observation Narrative	Plot location: In channel of a small Northwest River tributary ca. 0.4 miles south of the mouth of Indian Creek. Stream channel near the center of floodplain. Water is 80- 90 cm deep. A largely submergent aquatic community of wind-tidally flooded river guts and marsh pools. The plot is located in the center of a small, sluggish tributary of the Northwest River which originates in the marshes opposite the mouth of Indian Creek. The water in this gut is less than 1 meter deep, and fluctuates from fresh to oligohaline under certain wind-tide conditions.
