This small (ca. 0.05 ha), conspicuously open, low marsh is surrounded by a taller, nearly pure monoculture of Zizania aquatica. Water depth 42 cm at time of sampling, just before peak of high tide. As in plot PAMR017, it is difficult to determine whether stand drains completely during every tidal cycle or to compile complete species list. The lower stature of the vegetation and the relatively low total cover suggest a depression, perhaps as a result of subsidence of the marsh surface, or simply poor drainage. Plot lies ca. 70 m from unnamed "thoroughfare" through Sweet Hall Marsh and ca. 30 m south of northern terminus of the marsh.
