Observation Narrative
Oak/Heath Forest on a flat upland. The stand is divided by a small drain with a linear patch of Acidic Seepage Swamp. The upland forest has a dense heath layer about 0.5 meter tall that is mostly Gaylussacia frondosa with little to no herbaceous cover. The canopy trees are of multiple age classes.
