Plot location: 0.1 km NW of the summit of Halls Point.
Rock Types Present: large metabasalt outcrops and debris.
A stunted oak/ericad forest occurring on and around a series of small, upper-slope greenstone breccia cliffs and ledges. Quercus montana is the most abundant tree, but the vegetation contains a surprising diversity of both woody and herbaceous species for such a dry, sterile habitat.
