Description: Stands of these tree-fern forests of Puerto Rico are dominated by <i>Cyathea arborea</i> and <i>Cnemidaria horrida</i> in the upper stratum and <i>Dicraniopsis nervosa</i> and <i>Sticherus bifidus (= Dicranopteris bifida)</i> below. Other species include <i>Odontosoria aculeata</i> and <i>Lycopodiella cernua (= Palhinhaea cernua)</i>.
