Name: A.1976 Reference: EcoArt 2002 Description: Montane mixed pinewoods rich in tree-ferns, on yellow acidic soils derived from sandstone and andesitic tuffs, in southeastern Cuba. The uppermost of the two canopy layers is formed by ~Pinus X maestrensis$ (~Pinus cubensis X Pinus occidentalis$), accompanied by evergreen broad-leaved trees.
