Description: Seasonally flooded Typha latifolia marshes occurring in depressional wetlands, including peat soils of seasonally flooded depressions in the Coastal Plain of Florida. Pontederia cordata may codominate. In these areas, surface water is present for extended periods during the growing season, but is absent by the end of the growing season in most years.
