Description: This tidal marsh community dominated by Eleocharis rostellata, Rhynchospora colorata, and Rhynchospora microcarpa occupies small-scale openings in Juncus roemerianus marshes along the northern Gulf of Mexico. Infrequent tidal flooding and calcareous conditions are key environmental characteristics of this community. This community is known from Panhandle Florida and southern Baldwin County, Alabama.
