Description: This community occurs in southern Florida. The open canopy consists of Taxodium ascendens. The herbaceous stratum is dominated by Muhlenbergia filipes and Rhynchospora microcarpa. Other herbaceous species include Cladium mariscus ssp. jamaicense, Setaria parviflora (= Setaria geniculata), Schizachyrium sp., Pluchea rosea, and Sagittaria lancifolia.
