Description: These are seasonally flooded peat depressions dominated or codominated by Carex striata var. striata. Some areas are codominated by Xyris fimbriata and/or Lachnanthes caroliana. Other species may include Dulichium arundinaceum, Rhynchospora inundata, Rhynchospora cephalantha, Rhynchospora fascicularis, Syngonanthus flavidulus, Eleocharis microcarpa, Sarracenia minor, Xyris smalliana, Drosera intermedia, and Lipocarpha micrantha. Sphagnum spp. are typically abundant.
