Description: Spartina bakeri-dominated tidal marshes, infrequently inundated by tides. Other associated species include Kosteletzkya virginica, Ipomoea sagittata, Vicia floridana, and Mikania scandens. Scattered shrubs are often present (in the absence of fire) and include Baccharis halimifolia, Morella cerifera (= Myrica cerifera), Acer rubrum, Salix caroliniana, and Fraxinus caroliniana.
