Description: This alliance includes the vegetation of deeper Coastal Plain depressional wetlands, typically dominated by aquatic Eleocharis spp., such as Eleocharis elongata, Eleocharis equisetoides, and Eleocharis cellulosa. Rhynchospora tracyi may also be present. The depressions can be of various geomorphic origins, including limesinks and interdune swales.
