Description: Wet prairies and depressional wetlands dominated by the needle-leaved Hypericum fasciculatum. Rhynchospora chapmanii and Rhynchospora harperi are frequent associates. Other species present in southern Florida examples (Okeechobee County) include Proserpinaca pectinata, Gratiola sp., Pluchea sp., Rhynchospora inundata, Rhynchospora spp., Lachnanthes caroliana, and Oxypolis filiformis.
