Description: This saturated longleaf pine - pond pine woodland community occurs in the South Atlantic Coastal Plain of South Carolina. Stands are dominated by Pinus palustris and Pinus serotina. The herb layer is characterized by the presence or partial dominance of Ctenium aromaticum, Scleria pauciflora, and Sarracenia flava.
