Description: Forests dominated, usually more-or-less monospecifically, by the exotic Eucalyptus robusta. This species has been planted extensively in southern Florida and is now escaping and "invading abandoned farmland and disturbed native communities" (Alexander and Crook 1984). This alliance occurs as well in the West Indies. Forests in montane portions of Puerto Rico, dominated by the exotic (planted and naturalized) Eucalyptus robusta.
