Name: Echinochloa crus-galli Herbaceous Vegetation Reference: Carsey et al 2003b Description: Echinochloa crus-galli (barnyard grass) is a nonrhizomatous, warm-season annual grass of Eurasian origin that occurs throughout the continental United States and southern Canada. It is locally common in floodplains, riverbottoms and seasonally wet habitats, but is also found in drier areas, and is most often found on distrubed sites.
