Description: This is a very tentatively classified forb community documented in Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta. This association is known from the edge of isolated wetlands and mudflats. It occurs primarily on disturbed ground and was sampled at the edge of a poorly drained livestock pasture at 1290 m (4200 feet) elevation. Slopes are gentle. Ground cover is generally 99% bare ground. This association is dominated by forbs, with 10-30% total herbaceous cover. Dominant forb species are <i>Argentina anserina</i> (25%), <i>Veronica peregrina</i> (<1%), <i>Potentilla rivalis</i> (1%), <i>Monolepis nuttalliana</i> (<1%), and <i>Oxytropis deflexa</i> (<1%). Graminoids present include <i>Panicum capillare</i> (<1%), <i>Juncus bufonius</i> (<1%), and <i>Poa secunda</i> (<1%).
