Description: This is a pioneer plant association occurring on all but the most actively eroding or depositing areas of slowly moving sand dunes. <i>Leymus flavescens (= Elymus flavescens)</i> and <i>Psoralidium lanceolatum (= Psoralea lanceolata)</i> are the principle pioneer species on these dunes. The dunes where this is found are in Fremont County, Idaho.
