Description: This herbaceous community is a zonal component of limestone glade vegetation in Kentucky. Examples contain <i>Eleocharis bifida, </i><i>Eleocharis compressa, Nothoscordum bivalve, Isoetes butleri</i>, and <i>Hypoxis hirsuta</i>, but lack <i>Schoenolirion croceum</i>. More detailed information is needed on the floristics of this association and how it compares with related vegetation of Alabama and Tennessee (i.e., ~<i>Eleocharis (bifida, compressa) - Schoenolirion croceum - Carex crawei - Allium cernuum</i> Herbaceous Vegetation (CEGL004169)$$).
