Description: This vine-dominated vegetation is dominated by <i>Wisteria sinensis</i> or <i>Wisteria floribunda</i>, or most often hybrids of the two fast-growing vines native to Asia. The community is most commonly seen in fragmented landscapes near old homesteads and other areas. The oldest colonies may consist of <i>Wisteria sinensis</i> or <i>Wisteria floribunda</i> and little else since the wisteria slowly overtops and kills all other plants It has the potential to occur in most southeastern states.
