Description: Sparsely vegetated quartz sand dunes in the eastern Trans-Pecos of Texas, with primarily annual vegetation dominated by <i>Heliotropium convolvulaceum, Psoralidium lanceolatum, Polanisia jamesii, Helianthus petiolaris, Helianthus neglectus, Panicum havardii, Chamaesyce carunculata (= Euphorbia carunculata)</i>, and <i>Mentzelia</i> sp. This vegetation varies a great deal from year to year, depending on moisture.
