Description: This coastal grassland community of southwestern Florida typically has scattered shrubs of various heights and is dominated by <i>Ernodea littoralis</i> with <i>Uniola paniculata</i> and <i>Muhlenbergia filipes</i>. It occurs from Pinellas County south to Lee County, Florida. Other characteristic species include <i>Sabal palmetto, Opuntia stricta, Phyllanthus abnormis, Coccoloba uvifera, Oenothera humifusa, Heliotropium polyphyllum</i>, and <i>Croton punctatus</i>.
