Description: This forest association generally occurs on nutrient-rich substrates, in disturbed situations on slopes, urban abandoned lands, and on rocky limestone slopes, in association with a wide variety of other exotic species and generalist native species. There are floodplain forests in which invasive exotic <i>Ailanthus altissima</i> makes up 25-50% of the canopy; with other associated canopy species of <i>Fraxinus pennsylvanica</i> and <i>Acer saccharinum</i>. At this time, these forests are treated as D-ranked examples of native types.
