Description: This community occurs on shaded sinkhole walls and slopes, on exposed weathered limestone. <i>Adiantum tenerum</i> dominates the herb layer, with scattered individuals of <i>Parietaria praetermissa, Arenaria lanuginosa</i>, and other ferns. Mosses, especially <i>Anomodon rostratus</i>, are abundant. This community is shaded by topographic position and by overhanging trees rooted in the adjacent mesic hammock communities.
