Description: This association is known only from Bryce Canyon National Park. Very limited data are available. It occurs on steep, southwest-facing slopes, on eroded clay soils. Sites are extremely harsh and support few species with low coverage. The vegetation is dominated by <i>Eriogonum corymbosum, Atriplex canescens, Krascheninnikovia lanata, Leymus salinus</i>, and <i>Achnatherum hymenoides</i>.
