Distichlis spicata - Spartina spp. Wet Meadow | NatureServe Biotics 2019
 click to update datacart
Name: Distichlis spicata - Spartina spp. Wet Meadow
Reference: NatureServe Biotics 2019
Description: This is a southern type of saline prairie, presumed to have significant floristic differences from related associations to the north, although these are insufficiently documented to be described here. Stands are presumably dominated by Distichlis spicata and Spartina spp. More information is needed on the range and floristics of this association, which would be expected to range from the Crosstimbers and Southern Tallgrass Prairie region of Texas possibly south into equivalent areas of Mexico.
