Description: This association is only known from the Santa Monica Mountains region. This woodland association occurs on gentle to steep slopes with variable aspects at elevations between 35 and 445 m. It is dominated by <i>Platanus racemosa</i> and <i>Quercus agrifolia</i> in the tree layer, <i>Salix lasiolepis</i> in the tree understory, <i>Toxicodendron diversilobum</i> and <i>Salix lasiolepis</i> in the shrub layer, and a variety of forbs and grasses in the herbaceous layer.
