Description: This association is currently described from San Juan Island National Historical Park, Washington. Additional global information will be added as it becomes available. It is known from Washington State and thought to occur in British Columbia, Canada. This association occurs in euhaline (&gt;30 ppt), low tidal terraces. Vegetation is codominated by <i>Salicornia depressa, Distichlis spicata, Jaumea carnosa</i>, and <i>Triglochin maritima</i>. <i>Atriplex patula</i> and <i>Plantago maritima var. juncoides</i> are prominent. <i>Hordeum jubatum, Argentina egedii ssp. egedii, Spergularia canadensis</i>, and <i>Polypogon monspeliensis</i> are sometimes present. Additional information is needed to determine the distribution and current extent of this association.
