Description: This shrubland association occurs on gentle to steep southeast- and southwest-facing slopes at low elevations between 20 and 485 m. It is characterized by a dominance of <i>Salvia mellifera</i> and a subdominance of <i>Malosma laurina</i> in the shrub layer. The herbaceous layer and emergent tree layer are insignificant.
